Scot Wills

More than a powerhouse jazz saxophonist: a woodwind specialist, brass and multi-instrumentalist doubler, live and studio musician, composer, producer, educator, and a passionate voice for the arts.

He has performed with Take 6, Clark Terry, Donna Summer, Victor Wooten, Michael McDonald, Béla Fleck, Christopher Cross, Brian McKnight, The Yellowjackets, Dave Weckl, Katy Perry, Bad Company and many, many more — plus international cultural exchanges with members of The President’s Own U.S. Marine Band in Trinidad & Tobago and the Cuban National Concert Band in Havana.

Jeffrey is lead band director, woodwind instructor and director of rock and jazz bands at Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, TN. He studied music education at Capital University and holds a master’s in jazz performance from the University of Tennessee.

Chris started piano lessons in 3rd grade and drums the following year, and went on the road full time at 19. He toured with Christian band Bash ’N the Code for ten years before settling in Nashville.

He quickly established himself touring and recording with Steve Taylor, Steven Curtis Chapman, Lee Greenwood, Charlie Daniels, Bill Gaither, Kerry Livgren of Kansas, South For Winter — and was the drummer in the house band for the Billy Graham Crusades.

Director of Social Media Marketing and technical assistant for Rhythm[s]myth — informally since 2022, as a member since July 2023. A student of Jeffrey’s at Brentwood Academy (trombone in the Jazz Ensemble, tuba in the Concert Band), Colton is the photographer and videographer behind the images on this site.

He is a self-employed media production contractor with Brentwood Baptist, Lipscomb University, Nashville Sound Rental and Bradymade Events, and works full time with MG Systems as an AVL integrator for churches. His credits include Brentwood Baptist’s 2023 and 2024 Christmas Concerts, Lipscomb’s ESPN+ coverage and the 2025 We Love Christian Music Awards.
